Worship

The goal of the worship ministry of Legacy Bible Church is to provide an environment for authentic, God-centered worship during our weekly gatherings and to be an encouragement for our people toward a desire to worship God in all of life through daily sacrifice, trust, service, and inward treasuring of the value of God's glory. We desire to see lives that are marked by a heart of worship throughout the week, as well as corporate worship gatherings that are marked by joy and awe in tone, and richness and variety in expression.

Worship is more a way of life than just something you do on a Sunday morning.  Still, what we do when we gather together as a body is important.  Our aim in every service is that God be the main attraction.  He is the One we praise.  He is the One whose works we sing and tell about, especially Christ’s work on the cross for us.  And He is the One who speaks from His Word and works in our hearts.

More specifically, musical style of our corporate worship ranges from traditional to acoustic/folk to modern rock.  We seek to embrace variety in our expression of praise, valuing what is old and new, historic and current. 

We are always seeking out more individuals to help serve and lead the congregation during our Sunday morning services and other gatherings. We want our body to benefit as much as possible—for God's glory—by individuals using their gifts as we gather together.
