Discipleship is the desired result of biblical community. Life Groups are where we find Authentic Community that leads to biblical learning. 

We want fellowship, transformation, mutual care, and ministry of the Holy Spirit to come from your Life Group.

Life Groups meet on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and typically in the evening. They meet throughout the school year and follow the schedule of our local school districts. 

Most of our Life Groups meet in the Sherman-Denison area in leader homes, but we have a few who meet at the church.

Our Life Groups meet for two hours divided into three sections: 

40 min- Fellowship (often with a meal or snack)

40 min- Discussion (using questions from the sermon)

40 min- Prayer

This model is inspired by what the early church did in their gatherings in Acts 2:42: "And they devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers." (ESV-emphasis added) 

Legacy offers children's programming at the church for those Life Groups that meet on Mondays and Thursdays. Children's programming is for ages birth through 5th grade. Please note that there is an associated fee for these services.
